I grabbed this book off the shelf at Barnes & Noble yesterday evening because of the amazing cover artwork. Halfway through it, and only because my husband made me put it down and go to sleep last night! Were these meant to be independent novels as well as part of a series? This one certainly can stand on its own.

I'm so glad you have been enjoying the book. They can be read in any order, but there are secrets carefully layered into them which are best revealed in order. So for the best experience, begin with TBCD, go on to US and then COM. A new Gas-Lit Empire book will be published in January 2018. :)
