I preordered this book the second I finished the first one. I can hardly wait to get this book in my hands. And I hope that sales will encourage more books in this series--I can't accept that this will be the last book. Say it isn't so? Please let the story continue!

As you know, the series title is 'The Fall of the Gas-Lit Empire'. Book three will take us to a conclusion of several story threads that have been running through the earlier books. But the Gas-Lit Empire will not have fallen. There is definitely more story to tell. :)(less)

I'm reading Unseemly Science finally, and loving it. I have to set it down occasionally to run around in real life. Now I'm off to find your earlier writing to read. Do you have an idea of when Custodian of Marvels will be out?

I grabbed this book off the shelf at Barnes & Noble yesterday evening because of the amazing cover artwork. Halfway through it, and only because my husband made me put it down and go to sleep last night! Were these meant to be independent novels as well as part of a series? This one certainly can stand on its own.

I'm so glad you have been enjoying the book. They can be read in any order, but there are secrets carefully layered into them which are best revealed in order. So for the best experience, begin with TBCD, go on to US and then COM. A new Gas-Lit Empire book will be published in January 2018. :)(less)
