Hi Tracy, it was born out of some very hard work one day when I was digging and becoming very hot and tired, and my mind started to wander and I dreamt up the Will Burrows character. The other part of the equation was what Brian WIlliams had heard about the Williamson tunnels in Liverpool - there had been various myths knocking around about them while he was growing up, but the one that caught both our imaginations was when some workmen had been working on a road and unexpectedly knocked through to a cobbled street below. I never knew if the story was really true, but it sparked the idea for the Colony, and gave us the impetus to start the story. Do say hello to your boys from me! Kind regards, Roderick

i finished the 6th book in the series a few weeks ago and i cant understand why the publishers wouldn't want to continue publishing your books. that's not an ending, its an opportunity to make an entire follow up series like the percy jackson books. whats your opinion on that idea?

Hi Roderick. I loved your books, they're awesome. :) Thaks for wrtting them. I know your publisher thought it would be better to finish the story in Terminal, but many people (includding me) want a seventh book. So why don't you look for another publisher or another editorial? It is a pity because the story is great except of the final.
