I'm a sixth grader and I loved your books and I read all of them, so when you left us readers on a cliffhanger in the last book, about how Will was becoming like a Styx and how the earth began its journey home, so I was wondering if you could write a seventh book? Sincerely, Mohith, a loyal reader.

Hi Mohith, thank you for reading the books and I agree it's been left on a bit of a cliffhanger - have to say I've always hated stories where everything comes together neatly and usually very predictably at the end, so I'm happy that the Tunnels series leaves it a little open. Like life itself. It's for the reader to decide what happens next ... but having said that ... I always intended to write seven books but my publisher here in the UK wanted to conclude the series, so we agreed to finish with Terminal. Yes, I'd love to write another instalment at some point (and have quite a few scenes already mapped out) but it's completely dependent on Chicken House and what they want. I could write another book, but in order not to be sued I'd probably have to give it away for nothing! Kind regards, Roderick

Roderick Gordon:
When searching for your book on Amazon dot com by typing exactly, Summerhouse Land, I get: 1-16 of 321 results for "summer house land" which is not what I typed and shows a lovely list of beach house books. Huh? For some reason, Amazon separates Summer and House as separate words. You or your publisher or might contact: Submit Content Corrections and tell them the problem. Just thought you should know. -Cheers

Hello again, I recently read the Tunnels series again, and got my friend hooked on it too. Its been nearly 6 years since the publication of Terminal, and I was wondering if you and your publisher were still kicking around the idea of a 7th and final installation in the series. I had one last question, how did you feel, or go about writing the deaths and relationships between characters in the series? Thanks, Nick.
