Hi, Lambert13! Do you mean my young adult fairy tale romance series? I got the idea when I was watching the Disney version of Sleeping Beauty with my daughters. I thought it would be interesting to write a Sleeping Beauty story that was realistic and might actually have happened. Then I thought it would be fun to write an entire series of novels based on fairy tales. I've always been a huge fan of fairy tales. I love the basic stories and always thought it would be fun to flesh them out and make them longer. I wrote a short story based on Beauty and the Beast when I was a teenager. And I've always loved the Medieval time period and Medieval history. I was also inspired by my trip to Germany in 1992, the Medieval where I stayed, and the rich history and architecture of Germany.
