You must have read Jamie Shreeve's interview with paleoanthropologist Chris Stringer in the MAY 04 2014 National Geographic (Neanderthals, Denisovans and us)--? Actually, it's obvious you've read a lot more than that. Love it :-)

I'm actually not familiar with that particular interview, but as you've probably picked up from the book, the history and origins of our species have been an interest of mine for a while now. Most of what I know comes from soaking up books like Jared Diamond's The Third Chimpanzee, which I highly recommend if you're curious about this stuff.

What awful things in your cancer research might appear in "Three Days in April"--? I'm reviewing your debut novel for Perihelion Science Fiction ezine (Sept 12, 2015). Doug and Gary are great - creepy in a good way - and every character is memorable. I love the mouse chimera!

Dropping by to say congrats. I heard about the movie adaptation of Mickey7. And Bong Joon-Ho's directing it! He's the biggest director outside of America. I gotta ask, what did he say to about what he loved about Mickey7? Because so far I've only been able to find Three Days in April, which I thought was a brilliant satire of the cyberpunk end of A.I. Still, what did BJH say to you about it?
