Is Mickey 7 going to stay a duet or is it going to have more books?

That's an excellent (and currently open) question. My next two books, "Mal Goes to War" (available for preorder now, releasing in April, 2024) and "Currently Half-Way Through the First Draft" (releasing some time in the first half of 2025) are stand-alone novels, not connected to Mickey in any way. What happens after that will be determined after consultation with my agent, my editor, and a casting of the bones. I do have the skeleton of another Mickey book in the back of my head, but it's not 100% clear right now if or when it will ever see the light of day.

What awful things in your cancer research might appear in "Three Days in April"--? I'm reviewing your debut novel for Perihelion Science Fiction ezine (Sept 12, 2015). Doug and Gary are great - creepy in a good way - and every character is memorable. I love the mouse chimera!

Dropping by to say congrats. I heard about the movie adaptation of Mickey7. And Bong Joon-Ho's directing it! He's the biggest director outside of America. I gotta ask, what did he say to about what he loved about Mickey7? Because so far I've only been able to find Three Days in April, which I thought was a brilliant satire of the cyberpunk end of A.I. Still, what did BJH say to you about it?
