Tommy Lynch You obviously are much too old for this book -- at the age of 12 one should already be well-read in Dostoevsky as well as the at least three works of the Classical Philosophers (Socrates, Aristotle, Plato, Pythagoras, et al.) as well as a minimum of 2 Modernist works suck of thos of Descartes, Newton, and Galileo, as well as one of the Empiricists Lock, Boyle, a political work of Voltaire. This being two years after the original question, you should be well on your way through Nietzsche, Camus, and Sartre.
Ada Queen I think it will be a bit mature for you. I would suggest Sarah Dessen's books to be more age appropriate.
Kathy Abenes Ahaha I read this when I was 12.
Kibbles I'm reading this book now and there is swearing and mentions of sex, in the very first chapter in fact. It's only one time so far, but I would consider this an adult novel.
Kristhea it depends on your understanding and how you task new found information, dear.
Vibhiksha Yadav I would say 13 y/o are a bit too young to read this book. This book should be good when you are 15.

Rae I was 14 when I read the novel and loved it. There are some adult themes but they didn't faze me. Try it. :)
Ellyn → Allonsythornraxx This is an adult novel but there's no swearing or sex scenes so maybe wait a few years?
