Most of the awards I've won for writing have been for plays, with a few for short stories. The plays that won top honors and that were produced are Saying Good-bye (Production APW 1991); Tears of a Clown (Production APW 1992) and What Are You Looking At? (APW award 1993, Produced ASU 1994). As a novelist I have not earned any awards as of yet, but I also haven't submitted to any contest either. I'm still collecting feedback from readers about my work, as I believe I can still improve greatly as a writer. So far I have been getting a lot of positive comments from those who have read my work. So maybe I'll start putting myself out to contest with my next work due out later this year. Thanks for the question.
