I think it's better not to hurry it up. I would recommend keeping the book lying around, reading the stories at the time they become relevant in your life.
Colleen
I've done both and really like the audiobook. Her voice is very soothing and encouraging. It's nice to put on from time to time. I'd say give it a shot, the message is worth it.

I agree with Katerina. You are likely to integrate the material much better if you take in reasonable chunks at a time and then let it sink in, until you feel you're ready for the next chunk.

I've been reading this book for over 10 years. And I feel like it will be like that for the rest of my life. Integrating the stories when the time is right. I have a copy by my bed and a copy in my living room. Sometimes I just open up a random read at night before I sleep. And sometimes I cozy up on a Sunday and devour a few chapters. It's the book that keeps on giving. :)
Samantha
I much preferred the audiobook actually, I love her voice and it's nice to listen to the stories a bit from time to time.

I've been listening to it in bed. I think if I was trying to read it I'd get fed up and abandon it but there's a YouTube version read by the author and her voice is quite soothing. I listen to different parts of it as I'm laying in bed. It's relaxing and I find that the repetition of the stories helps me to understand and remember it more. So the audiobook works for me 🙂

I have read this book over 2 years, it was when I felt I needed some insight from it that I would start a new chapter. It truly made sense in my life at different moments and so, I agree with Katerina. Take care, Sarah

I think the audio version is severely cut back, heavily edited, much shorter abridged version... but it sure gives you the gyst of it
Carolyn
It is an absolutely magical audiobook, i highly recommend it. The book sat in my possession for years and i never read it, i listened to the entire audio in a day or two, I couldn't stop. I listened to it multiple times and will again. I will always hear it in her voice too which is such a nice treat (less)

The audiobook has 2 chapters. Is it a complete version of the book?

I get where you ladies are coming from, but how can you know when is the right moment? I am reading it and hating it so far.
Grace Chen-Darrow
it's great to listen to!

It's a book you have to take the time to read. I found that it can get a bit to heavy in some parts but if you try to go through it taking your time I think you might enjoy it a bit more. It is a really good book.
