Brian, the way you handled Laith's death brought me to tears. You didn't tamper too much with it directly. No prolonged funeral or such, just a mention by Valyn in the consecutive chapters brought back memories of the flier and I found the letters were blurry, but infact I was crying again. Thank you, that was a wonderful experience. Anyway, to my question, how many people will I cry for in the final book?

Hi Kevin. For me, too, Laith was a tough one to let go of. As far as The Last Mortal Bond goes, there will definitely be some more tears, provided I've done my job well. On the other hand, there are a couple of triumphs as well, and maybe even a few laughs. Can't wait to hear what you make of it!

I see that you are working on the third installment in the series (Hope it is going with a full momentum), so why wasn't The Providence of Fire published the week it was finished? Or anytime before the scheduled January,2015? I am asking this because, the suspense is digging at me a little bit. Oh, and the fantasy genre needs thrillers like your work, kudos to you!!
