hi im huge fan of yours iv started to collect all your paperback but some i cant really afford i was wondering if sams club will be saleing hold on when it comes out ?
Kristen Ashley
Really appreciate the print love, babe. Thank you for that.
And let me explain a bit about the pricing.
I'm what's called a "hybrid" author.
That's to say I have some of my books traditionally published (that's in MM or mass market paperback, the smaller books that are a lot less expensive). My traditionally published books are the Colorado Mountain Series, the Dream Man Series and the Chaos Series. These books are mass produced, which costs a lot less. They're also distributed by my publisher, with a sales team that (fingers crossed, voodoo dance of luck) gets them on shelves at places like Barnes & Noble, BAM!, Walmart and Sam's Club.
All my other series, if they're in print, they've been put in print by me. The "self" or "independent' side of my publishing. I do not have a sales team that can talk B&N into putting my books on their shelves! It's just little ole me and my sis, who's my assistant. The books I publish are trade paperback (this is the bigger, better quality books). They're also print on demand, which means the print runs are not thousands and thousands. Therefore, production of these books is a lot more expensive. And that means the books are a lot more expensive.
So, to end, if I haven't bored you silly already, HOLD ON is in The 'Burg series. It's independently published in trade paperback so no...it will be available online only and at a higher price point.
Sorry about that! Maybe someday my print readership will pick up and this will change. But it is what it is for now.
Thanks for asking! xx

I read you just finished Sebring. I can not wait to see what is going on in Nicks brain and If he finally gets his act together. My question is was Nick the main reason the unfinished series was written? Was he the main event all along, you just need us to meet , Knight, Raid, Creed & Sylvie and Deacon to understand nicks book? Hope that made since.
