Mr. Brett, I was curious about one thing. Arlen gave the battle wards to Tibbet's Creek and considered his work done. Wouldn't giving the town knowledge on how to make crete be more helpful? The first book starts with wards failing in the hamlet and in the 2nd book we see how using crete made the whole town warded not to mention what Leesha did with it at her house.

That's a good question. It's not that they don't have the tech to make crete in Tibbet's Brook, they just lack the stone quarries and resources to pave things in quantity. However, the Brook is in the middle of a major expansion. Will get to that soon, I hope...

Im really glad that you created a cool character like arlen (not Coward and all).
