Hey Michael - I've been tracking the Death of Dulgath kickstarter and now the Paypal options you have for backers. I love all the stuff that you have there, but my format of choice is definitely Audiobooks these days. I haven't jumped in so far because I didn't see and Audio version. Is this due to contracts (you posts on the subject have been very enlightening) or another reason?

Hey Jonathon, Thanks for asking. The Death of Dulgath Kickstarter was indeed a huge success. It raised $73,000+ through Kickstarter , $2,000+ through Paypal, and $15,000+ from Backer Kit. Finishing out at more than $90,000. So yeah it's been amazing.
Even if you are a pure audio listener, you can still participate in the Kickstarter by buying add-ons (posters, t-shirts, tote bags, coffee mugs, etc) without getting either the ebook or print book. Here is the link if you want to do so.
But with regard to your question...yes the reason you don't see the audio on the Kickstarter is because we don't have the rights to sell that format since we sold them to an audio publisher. Audible has given us 10 free downloads and we are giving them away through a raffle for the Kickstarter, but we can't add them as a reward level or an "add-on."
We are hoping to get the audio book released on the same date as the hardcover (December 8th), but until we have a final book, the publisher can't schedule studio time and narrator time. If everything goes to plan, they will be released then, worse case scenario...they might be delayed by a week or two.
Again thanks for asking.

Greetings Michael! This is not a question, but a thank you for helping me stay on point. "The Last Train" is away for that little magic copyright number. As soon as that comes back, Amazon Kindle here I come. Other platforms will follow as I learn formatting specifications, or break my vow and pay a distributor like Blue Ash / Book Baby. Thank You for Your Support & Friendship!
