Which philosophers, works, and theories would you say have been the greatest influences on Isabel's thinking? Does her philosophical viewpoint largely mirror your own, or does her thinking differ from yours?

What I find surprising is that, although you are a professor in Medical Law and an expert in Bioethics, you do not have a doctor as main character in your novels. Forgive my ignorance if I am wrong, but it seems only natural that you wrote about people and environments you are so familiar with. Would you contemplate this option for future novels?
