Precious Ramotswe's professional title is 'Lady Detective' but she is essentially a moral philosopher while Isabel Dalhousie is a professional moral philosopher who is drawn to act as a detective in the mysteries facing her friends and acquaintances. Did you intentionally do this or did it just sort of happen?
