Usually by reading prior works so I can get back on track with where the series as a whole is supposed to go. If that fails, I sometimes go ahead in the timeline and start outlining future books in the series to get a better idea of where I'm going with it. And if both of those fail, I pick up someone else's book and try clearing my mind by letting someone else do some work.

Hi Joe, I was looking for your books on Kindle, only to discover you're revising them for a new release (+ audible). How is that progressing and what's your expected timeline for release? BTW "NO PRESSURE!" Seriously, I'm interested in trying Salvation's Dawn; have you got a release date on Kindle?
