Joe Jackson Hi Torin, the audio for The Awakening should be coming out in the next few weeks, I'm just waiting on the narrator to make some corrections and then I'll get it posted as soon as Audible approves it.

The others are coming as Chelsea has time to do them. Book 9 is scheduled to go into production in February.

Thanks for listening!
Joe Jackson Hi Graeme, the series will be re-released starting on May 5th with Salvation's Dawn, including an audiobook version for the first time. Each sequel should be released 2-3 weeks after the previous book, all the way through the end (#11). Hope you enjoy it!
Joe Jackson Yes, I just have to do the file conversions. I'll message you when they're available. Thanks for your interest!
Joe Jackson David stared down at his girlfriend's lifeless body, hoping, praying he would wake up from this nightmare.

Instead, she did...
Joe Jackson The Star Wars Universe...I'd be running the trade routes and visiting as many places as I could. So much to see and do!
Joe Jackson Belgarath and Poledra from the Eddings' series. I loved that the "mate for life" angle was worked into Belgarath's wolfish tendencies, such that he waited for her rather than moving on.
Joe Jackson Sure, send me your request with a PDF or ebook copy of whichever one you want reviewed to shoelessauthor@gmail.com and I'll take a spin through it when I finish the ones currently on my plate.
Joe Jackson Sure, send me a message with which book of yours you'd like reviewed and we can get started.
Joe Jackson Telling a story the audience has never heard before. It's challenging to not fall into the same routines and cliches that have already been done to death, so when you manage not to, it's very rewarding. I think the best part is having readers thank you for taking them on an amazing journey. That's my goal.
Joe Jackson Avoid doing what's been done. Unfortunately, it seems like the publishing industry as a whole is getting stuck in a rut where they just want the same thing repackaged over and over with a different cover. Find your voice and write about what interests you, and not necessarily what you think an agent/publisher is going to jump on right away. Because honestly, do we need another "teenage outcast goes to special school" book?
Joe Jackson Usually by reading prior works so I can get back on track with where the series as a whole is supposed to go. If that fails, I sometimes go ahead in the timeline and start outlining future books in the series to get a better idea of where I'm going with it. And if both of those fail, I pick up someone else's book and try clearing my mind by letting someone else do some work.
Joe Jackson These books are largely based on AD&D campaigns I've written and worked on since 1993. The actual alien world they are set on was originally thought up back in 5th grade.
Joe Jackson Right now, I'm working on the third book in the Eve of Redemption series. Book II is complete, but still needs a little bit of polishing and editing. I plan to release it in February of 2016 unless Salvation's Dawn does remarkably well.
