Hey Kate! I want to thank you for such wonderful books that I keep going back to. I swear, it's an incessant stream of fangirling on my part. I am not sure if I've seen it somewhere or not, but do you have any plans after finishing the collab on the Boudica novel? I can't get enough of your writing since I first picked up Mistress of Rome a couple of years ago, probably shortly after you first released it.

Delighted you have enjoyed my books! And yes, I do have plans for a new book after the Boudica collaboration - but all details are secret at this point, because it's only half done, and still with my agent! I can tell you that it is completely new and very, very different from anything I have worked on before. Feels a bit like setting out into the open ocean in a cardboard boat, but it's exciting to work on as well.

Would you ever write about how Rome fell? Like arrival of the Huns/ migration of the Visigoths, the rise of Byzantium, and the spread of Christianity that lead to the loss of traditional Roman values?…Or how the Roman legions had grown considerably weaker by the time of Constantine and how they had to hire foreign mercenaries?
