Lydia asked:

I'm almost 35, is this book still worth reading or will it make me regret my lost 20s?

Genetai I know this question is old but I feel the answers might be a bit misleading for those that see it now.

I'd say you're better off not reading this at 35. The tone isn't very positive for 30+. So especially when your goal is to read this to get back on track I'd advice looking for a different book that is not written as specially for your 20s as this book can be quite depressing, and in particular when you're older.

However, if you have your life together and would like insight into the 20s period in ones life, maybe for your (future) child, I do recommend you to pick it up.
Jarrod Zhang You will regret your "lost" 20s whether you read this book or not. Reading this book will give you a more educated view on those regrets. Furthermore, like others have said, it's never too late to start improving your life.
LiLi As a follow-up, does this book give any pointers for people who did struggle through their 20s, are behind in the game, and are trying to figure out the next step?
Sharon Connolly I am twice your age and loved this book! It was nice to look back and see some of my choices that I made in my 20s, a very different time than now. I still think some of these analysis techniques, if that's what you want to call them, still work today with our life choices. I was especially intrigued with the pressure to find the right guy and settle down quickly. That pressure still exists, but now more in one's 30s.

I have recommended it to all my friends with children in college or who have just graduated.
Maia what i regret about my 20s is leaving it until i was too late to get pregnant - you can be infertile at 36 and adopting is very very hard to do if you're not a homeowner in stable employment and marriage - i kind of feel i know what i missed out on already
செந்தில் குமார் I too did regret and lose my sleep, but I feel it's good i read it, at least now (I'm 35). Good to know what we've lost/missed.
Anjle My guess is that while much of it may not be applicable to you, but it could provide you with insight into your past, if nothing else.
If you're considering reading it, you should probably read it.
