First of all i want to say a huge thank you for the amazing transcendence book i have just finished and ask what inspired you as a writer [or a person] to create a book presented only from the point of view of a human being who could not communicate normally. Was this book an attempt to "be" your characters voice?

A lot of people were talking about alpha male characters acting like cavemen. I wanted to find a book with a REAL caveman, and couldn't, so I wrote one instead. I don't know how/why it turned out the way it did, but I'm glad so many people have enjoyed it! :)
