Thank you, Jenny! Gus lives long and happily. He's just that kind of a character that you know will do just fine. I enjoyed writing the Purgatory books. They aren't as popular as some of my other novels, but they were pure joy to create.

Just read Running Barefoot for our book club selection this month. What an incredible book! Now I want to know how you came up with that story? Did this happen to you or someone you know? Oh how I loved the depth of Josie and Samuel. I listened to this via audible. Thank you for an incredible narrator! Audio books are the only way I can read (busy mom.) What a beautiful romance. I'm sad it is over now.

Thank you! Your books are so inspiring! I wasn't interested in Native American's culture before reading RB, but I found it was a very interesting topic to learn about (which I did). I loved Making Faces (esp. this one), RB and now I'm reading A Different Blue. So powerful and wise. If I had another copy of MF, I would highlight every page. Thank you a lot for inspiration and great time I've had reading your books!
