Not quite sure if this was asked already, but what was your inspiration for the Anna Duology? :)

Kendare Blake I actually haven't answered this in a while! Anna came about from the desire to get back to my horror roots. I grew up on Stephen King and Anne Rice and violent stuff like Bret Easton Ellis, and I missed all those guts. I wanted to write something with guts.

The storyline wasn't inspired by anything in particular though. I just set up Cas to face Anna and let them do what they would.

Hey, I was wondering if you had any advice on writing romance. Like, how do you go when one of the persons involved might be dangerous (like Anna)? How do you make all the obstacles worth it? How do you make it realistic to the reader? I simply loved how you did it with the Anna duology. Thanks!
