I just found your 1st novel Memory Painter. Its strange because I had just been discussing dreams and Egypt with people on grs. I've long been fascinated by both and there in one book is both and art. I'm a songwriter and sometimes get songs in my dreams. Normally I don't read much fiction but that and your theatre background made me curious. Do you believe IRL things can be more than coincidence?

First of all, I am curious as to why you waited so long to write your first novel? How did you come up with the concept for The Memory Painter?
