I just found your 1st novel Memory Painter. Its strange because I had just been discussing dreams and Egypt with people on grs. I've long been fascinated by both and there in one book is both and art. I'm a songwriter and sometimes get songs in my dreams. Normally I don't read much fiction but that and your theatre background made me curious. Do you believe IRL things can be more than coincidence?

Hi Alan,
I'm happy to hear you found The Memory Painter. I do like to think coincidence is serendipity in motion. I hope you enjoy the book.
And just to sprinkle a little more coincidence into the equation since you are a songwriter, The Memory Painter does have an upcoming companion book that revolves around music and the power of sound. It will be coming out next March and is called The Last Labyrinth. You might enjoy that one too. :)
Cheers,
Gwendolyn

I entered your Goodreads Giveaway for The Memory Painter tonight. I may not be able to wait that long, though, lol! I've been meaning to purchase this book for a while now but life, you know how desperately distracting it can be. Now I have to ask - should I read The Fortune Teller or The Memory Painter first or does the order matter?

Hello Gwendolyn. I received your novel by UPS yesterday as I was locking my front door and heading to the beach. Perfect timing! I have a few questions, not one lol. First of all, I am curious as to why you waited so long to write your first novel? How did you come up with the concept for The Memory Painter? And how is it you went about the research for your first novel? I am now following you as an author.

I received Memory Painter through a book subscription and I am in love! I just finished and tried to google the title of the sequel. I need more! Love this book! Is there any possibility of another in this series? I need to see how the Brotherhood fixes everything and what becomes of them all meeting.
