What`s the most difficult thing about being an author?

Ike Hamill I like almost everything about being an author. I love telling stories and finding people who want to hear them. It's easy for me to get wrapped up in statistics. When a book is doing well, I'll check the sales figures several times a day. For example, instead of enjoying the fact that The Claiming is #72 in Horror books at the moment, I'll fret about it when it drops to #73. So, I suppose it's the uncertainty that is most difficult.
