On page 224 Frieda and Abram Kaufman when the woman opens the door, Kate puts her age at about 35. This would have made her 5 years old when the disappearance t took place, yet Frieda talks as if she were Nolt's age or even older. Did I miss something? Or perhaps skip something...or am I simply misunderstanding the time-line?

Early on, I was astonished to see Castillo write that a twelve-year-old boy was an Eagle Scout. Unless things have changed drastically in the last number of years, that's at least two to four years young for a boy scout to have earned all his merit badges, and have completed his projects.(less)
