Hello I am new to goodreads so this may not be the place for this question, but now I have finished all of Karin's series' and then Tess Gartiners' series, I am looking for something similar: not too romantic, fairly simple reads but suspenseful. I am trying the first in a Lisa Gardner series but so far am having some trouble getting in to it. Any suggestions? Thank you/!

Skip to the third book and read on from there. Books 3 to 11 are amazing. I was hooked! Also, try the Quincy and Raine series (aka FBI Profiler Series). Again, the first book is a bit bleh so you can skip that but books 2 to 7 are awesome. Also try Mary Burton's books; she writes romantic suspense. 97% of her book content is suspense and the rest is romance so it's not too much. Try Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen's collaborations. They have written three books. My favorite was "An Anonymous Girl" so start off with that. There's also another writer, Peter Swanson. I haven't read his books yet but I've read good reviews.
