Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rebel Miller I wish I had a more articulate and profound answer, but the first line of the book "I am a queen" simply popped into my head. I knew I didn't want to do historical romance, so I set the story in the future where I could develop my own world or worlds in the case. I have to admit I didn't anticipate my first romance novel would be futuristic, but I am so glad it was! Setting AWAKENING in the future opened up a number of provocative opportunities for my female lead's storyline.
