Would this be good on audiobook or is it better as a regular book?

Heidi Draffin I am listening to Snow Crash now as an audiobook and absolutely love it. Johnathan Davis has quickly become one of my favorite narrators.
Yossi Kolesnicov I listened to the audiobook (while recovering from PRK eye surgery), and it was a delight, start to finish. Jonathan Davis, who narrated the book, did an amazing job, I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed it as much just reading it.
Jessica I just finished the audiobook and it was fantastic. Very well done. Jonathan Davis does a phenomenal job. Sometimes when I'm doing other things while listening to an audiobook I'll find myself zoning out on the book, especially when the quality isn't great. Not with this one, the quality is so good and the story is so engaging.
Taras Ivashchyshyn So far, I'm not getting it. No real story. Maybe deeper into the book?
Shuaib Ahmed I don’t get it, the audible narration was the corniest thing I’ve heard. The terrible Asian accents, the weird gibberish intros at the beginning of each chapter.

The book really dragged as well a lot of unnecessary language. I liked the world building tho
Rachel Smith I have it in print and audiobook. The audiobook is my favorite goto for my commute to work. He really creates great character narration.
Adam It's fantastic in both formats. I switched from text to audio near the beginning when I found the writing style to be hugely annoying, and then back to text once I got used to it. I'm trying to like audiobooks more but reading and being able to highlight what I love on my kindle is so much more gratifying.
Matt Hawkins Probably better as an audiobook so you can fall asleep and it will be all over when you wake.
Dick Heimbold It is incredibly good on Audible. Listening to it now and believe I would much prefer listening to this long dense story than reading it.
Peter Wrenshall I couldn't get through the book, but the audiobook was enjoyable. That probably says more about me than the book, but I think the author should just write less words, if you know what I mean.
Chris James Johnathan Davis once again proves why he is one of the best in the business, but the sound that plays at each break (scene or chapter) on my version from Audible are jarring and bring me out of the book.
Matt Kowalski The audiobook version of Snow Crash is very well done. Although it's long, the narrator is excellent and being a able to rewind to reinforce the (few) times I zoned out has been invaluable.
dsreads The narrator was really good. The story is pretty complex and takes a lot of in-depth explanation, for pages at a time. This can result in you zoning out on the parts that feel like a history lesson, and forgetting something important.
