Mark Lawrence I'm not sure Jorg did much moralising on his journey...

The character was inspired by the character Alex in Anthony Burgess book A Clockwork Orange (1962). The Broken Empire itself just came off the tip of my fingers as I typed. I'm sure its influences are many, various, and subconscious.

I was recently listening to the Book of the Ancestor audiobooks and noticed that Nona is pronounced with a short o (Non-a), where I always imagined it was a long o (Noh-na). Which version do you prefer?
