Great question! Books that come to mind immediately are Anne Frank's The Diary of a Young Girl (I get emotional just thinking about it), A Farewell To Arms, by Ernest Hemingway, and The Catcher In The Rye, by J. D. Salinger. All the books in The Hunger Games series were emotional for me as well. Most of the books I enjoy are on some level, and depending on the emotion, that is to a large degree what I enjoy about them. Thanks for asking this question!
