Would this book be appropriate for a 10 year old?

Erin yes i read this when i was around 10 and i wasn't scared. I did get grossed out by some of the deaths though. There was nothing sexual about this book…moreyes i read this when i was around 10 and i wasn't scared. I did get grossed out by some of the deaths though. There was nothing sexual about this book that i can remember but there is lots of cussing and i know some parents don't like their kids hearing or reading cuss words. i would say that a very mature 10 year old could read this because i was a very mature kid when i read this and i'd already heard all the words that were said and the gore didn't bother me as much as it would have if i hadn't watched so many pg-13 movies.
