Do you read some of the Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction? Do you plan on using some of he characters full name because I think that would be cool but like once cause then I feel like it would be awkward? Shannon Messenger I don't read fanfiction, for lots of different reasons. most to do with lack of time, and also legal issues. Not sure I totally understand what you mean by awkward with the name using thing, but as with any character or world details in KEEPER (things like last names, further details on their appearance, descriptions of locations, details about foods/games, etc) all that stuff only goes into the books when it feels organic and necessary to the story so it doesn't read like INFO DUMP. So some character's last names have been used, and I'm sure more will be, but only when/if there's a believable moment where that kind of information would be given to Sophie.

As for your email, I'm currently caught up on fan emails through September of 2014, meaning if anyone sent me an email before that, it should have gotten a reply. So either I didn't get it (the internet goblins have been known to devour emails before they get to me), or it didn't meet the criteria listed on my website (i.e. if it included pages of your writing that you wanted me to read--for legal reasons those get deleted immediately--or if the email was to ask a question I already answered in the FAQs on my website) As long as your email follows the rules, you're welcome to resend, though I'll warn you, the queue is a very slow process, so a reply will require lots of patience--SORRY. Keeping up with fan emails is turning into an impossible process. I'm doing the best I can because I love hearing from fans, but thanks to deadlines--and how many of you there are--it takes months and months and months. *wishes she had a TARDIS*
