Have you ever had an idea for the Keeper series that you think would be cool, but would totally mess up the story? Like if Iggy and all the other imps went on a rampage and ate all the Mallowmelt?

Shannon Messenger Um...sort of? Not sure I have ideas that would mess up the story. But I do get ideas for scenes that mess up the pacing of the story. The KEEPER books are LONG, but my editor and I work very hard to make sure they don't FEEL long, and sometimes that means cutting funny incidents and things that--while being entertaining in their own right--distract from the much more important and page turning things happening in the books.
