I've been slowly listening to the back archive of Writing Excuses. I've just hit the beginning of season 10. At once point, after talking about Kiss Me Twice, you mentioned making that novella into a series. Is that still something you're planning to do? You know, with your infinite time, clearly. Because that portrayal of AI is somewhere near my personal ideal and I'd love to spend more time in that world.

There are two other stories in that world. One, with Metta partnered with a different detective, is "Body Language." The other, which is the same universe, but farther in the future of their timeline is "For Want of a Nail."

I'm impressed with the lengths you've taken to ensure that the vocabulary is suitable for the time period. How far would you go with this, if you were writing about a more distant time and place? For example, if you were writing about Elizabethan England, or 18th century France, or ancient Rome?
