I always precede any advice I give with this overarching piece:
Never listen to anything to say.
That said, I suppose I would this: Be wary of advice about anything you write. In the end, all opinions are subjective. If several people start to make the comment about what you are doing, you should probably be cognisant of what they say, but that doesn't necessarily mean you should change it.
The only person whose opinion really matters is your own.
