Is there a glossary for this book? What do vally, bell, and roo mean?

The Dawn Hi Anastasia! I see you asked this Q a few months ago, so I am probably no help to you at this point, but I am reading this book now and loving it! Anyway, vally means brave (like from valiant), bell means beautiful, and roo is Russian (as in Rooski). A lot of the dialect seems to be shortened from the original words (like Merican for American etc.), as though it has morphed over generations who have only spoken words, not books, to learn from. Hope this helps somewhat.
Bridget I've yet to figure it out. My only guess is that bell means beautiful. I also am trying to figure out what animose means....
