How did you come up with the story to "Boys That Bite"? How was this entire series even thought of?

Mari Mancusi I was watching a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer back then and really wanted to write my own vampire story. :) I wanted to play with the idea of the twins being identical on the outside, but very different on the insides and how to someone (like me, for example) becoming a vampire would be a dream come true whereas for someone else it would be a real nightmare. I had only come up with the first book when I sold it and had no idea it would turn out to be such a long running series!
