Horror's Greatest Hits

Hi Goodreaders! I'm a Stephen King fan so naturally, I was drawn to Dean Koontz books. However, it seems some of his books have an element of evil/horror that may have me not being able to sleep at night. Can someone recommend me a Koontz novel that is a good thriller/suspense; but less on the horror/evil side? Maybe more like Stehpen KIng's 'Misery', 'Christine', 'Cell'. Hope someone can help me!

C.J. Hi Roz, I agree about Kind's endings as far as a lot of the earlier novels, and he's also acknowledged that his endings weren't always a strong point. ...more
