Goodreads asked Kyle Weckerly:

How do you get inspired to write?

Kyle Weckerly I'll be honest here, I grew up watching cartoons and then going outside and playing around with the characters that I saw. I would run around in circles acting out different scenarios for each character, and that's never really left me. I'll watch a movie, TV show or read a book and think of what a character could do, or should do. I started this as a kid and it's never gone away. It's gotten to the point that if I don't write these out, I start going insane because there are so many stories that I want to share.
And there's a little bit of an arrogant streak that comes into play when I come across a story that doesn't develop or end the way that I like. I feel I could make it better.
