Goodreads asked R.M. Alexander:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

R.M. Alexander The best advice I can give anyone is to network with other people in publishing world. Editors, cover designers, other authors. It's especially a good idea to network with authors at different levels in their careers. If you talk with authors who have found success in their careers, you can learn from them. If you find an author at the same level as you, you can take the journey together and lean on one another through every stage of the process. Then you want to network with authors who are starting out so you can reach back and help them along.
