I just finished it and found the sex stuff kind of demeaning to women, especially Fermin's remarks. Other than that, I don't think it would damage a 17 year old unless he is very sheltered. Most 17 year olds know a lot more than we realize! I'm speaking from 70 years experience which probably doesn't count for much!(less)
