Goodreads asked Joe Krakovsky:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Joe Krakovsky Do a little bit everyday. If you make yourself sit down to write, even if it is for just a few lines, you might surprise yourself and write more. If you get stuck, fine, just walk away and feel good that you did at least something. As Bill Murray once said in the movie, "What about Bob?" take "Baby Steps". Don't worry, some crazy psychaitrist will not try to treat you with "Death Therapy".
And if you get stuck with writer's block, paint your toe nails if you are a girl and open the hood and stare at the engine while sipping a cold one if you are a guy and sooner or later the answer will come to you.
