I'm currently working on a novel-length retelling of Sleeping Beauty. I've yet to encounter an author who reinvents fairy tales as brilliantly as you do, and I was wondering if you have any tips for someone who's trying to do the same?

You have to decide what you want from your story. Are you looking to do a very serious retelling of of Sleeping Beauty? In which case you need to make sure you read some different versions and get a feel for what things are standard (and what are invented by Disney!). If you want to do a very loose retelling, like nothing is the same except she's asleep for a while, then you just go ahead and let your imagination run wild and do whatever you want. That's about the best advice I can give! And good luck!

Will you make more books to the series of "Princess of the midnight ball" I think you should make a book that has each of the different princesses pov. Like with the first one it was Roses point of veiw, and the second one was poppy and the third one is Petunia so i think you should make a book with all of the other princesses point of view and their happy endings?

Dragon slippers was one of my favorite books to read. I fell in love with embroidery shortly after my grandmother passed so seeing it in a book filled with dragons and princes made my heart soar! I was wondering if you had any image references or perhaps embroidery tutorials related to what you had in mind while writing those books? I'd love to use that inspiration for my own work even if just for a napkin cozy.
