Phobos *spoilers*. I thought it was a lot like Misery too. I kind of rolled my eyes at the part where someone threatens to burn a manuscript to terrorize the…more*spoilers*. I thought it was a lot like Misery too. I kind of rolled my eyes at the part where someone threatens to burn a manuscript to terrorize the devout fan. That was right out of Misery. I thought it was kind of weird that the fan (Bellamy) was such a blue collar guy but he liked fiction that was in the vein of John Updike. Also, why would a high school kid identify with the "Runner" series since it's so much about Baby Boomers. People under the age of 50 are not this interested in the lives of Boomers, especially high school kids.(less)
