Bibliophile asked Keira Andrews:

As evidenced by your foray into gay Amish romance and more recently, zombie/paranormal/apocalyptic romance, I love how you're not afraid to take risks as an author. The end result are stories that take risks too, and end up surprising and delighting us at every turn. Thank you for that! How did the idea for A Kick in the Darkness come about? Also, what are your plans writing-wise for the remaining half of 2015?

Keira Andrews Thank you again! I love writing in different genres, and I'm glad you enjoy variety as well. I first had the idea for Parker and Adam's story a couple of years ago. I had a road trip idea on a motorcycle, and I've always loved stories where strangers are thrust together in a survival situation. So that's how it started, and it grew from there.

My next book (due late summer) is a contemporary story about a young single father, his daughter, and a hunky forest ranger. When the daughter is kidnapped by a convict on the run in a Montana national park, the chase is on. :)

After that I plan on a contemporary about a secret service agent and the president's closeted son, and also a Christmas novella. So I'm plugging away! :)
