Goodreads asked Michael Wescott Loder:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Michael Wescott Loder Some stories come easily. Others bog down. When they do, I walk away from them and do something else. Sometimes I go back, sometimes I don't. I long ago decided that I would not waste time staring at a screen when I had nothing to say. If I am "in the groove" of a story, every night in bed, I am writing the next part in my mind. By the time I am writing again, the story is already in my mind and ready to type into the program.
