Goodreads asked Peg Brantley:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Peg Brantley Writer's block can be deceptive.

Usually with me, rather than an actual block, it's a little voice in my head that tells me I'm a fake and a quack and can't possibly right a book. Or another book. Or this book.

The best course of action when this happens is simply to put words to paper (or computer screen). A lot of them might suck, but it's the ones that are keepers that make that little voice go silent. At least for a while.
