Thank you so much for asking a question, Selena. I wish I had a simple answer. I feel as if everything I read, listen to, and watch influences me. For authors, Kafka, Shakespeare, James Joyce, Cormac McCarthy, Melville, Conrad, Kurt Vonnegut, William Faulkner, and George Orwell all have had an impact on me. I've also been influenced by Homer, Vergil, Dante, Ovid, the Bhagavad-Gita, and the Bible. And then there are the stylists I love, such as Bukowski, Hunter Thompson, James Crumley, Don Delillo, Philip Roth, and Charles Willeford. I hope that's a satisfactory answer!

I'm not sure how to phrase this accurately. Having lived an acting life and being in the movie world, and now noveling as well as screenplay writing, are the wells of creativity you toss your bucket down the same? (You wouldn't believe how long it took me to get even that logical.)
